At theCRASH, a community-focused nonprofit, we are dedicated to transforming lives and zip codes by bringing help, color, and compassion to our community. Our vision is to bring hope and healing to the people and places of 77075, serving our great city one zip code at a time.
OUR INITIATIVES
COMMUNITY
CENTER
Turning empty buildings into vibrant neighborhood centers is our jam! We invested in 77075 by purchasing a 15,000 sq ft former club right in the heart of the zip code and are raising funds to renovate. This space will offer community financial training, homeless outreach, parenting classes, senior activities, kids summer programs, and much, much more.

Building homes, blanket drives, family movie nights, Zumba classes, toy drives, park days, ultimate frisbee youth leagues, car shows, playground cleanups, and museum nights are just a few ways theCRASH has served 77075 for nearly a decade as we continue working towards a healthy community.

In addition to meeting physical needs, theCRASH is committed to nurturing the spiritual well-being of our community members. We want our neighbors to experience spiritual growth and personal development in the context of a genuine, loving community through family worship nights, Bible studies in the home, small groups, and vibrant weekend services for all ages.
OUR NAME
A group of lions is a PRIDE.
A group of kangaroos is a MOB.
A group of sharks is a SHIVER.
A group of rhinos is a CRASH.
For a 2.5 ton land animal, a rhinoceros can run extremely fast up to 30mph, but due to poor eyesight, can only see 30 feet ahead; hence the name 'crash'. But when a group of rhinos runs together, they are one of the most UNSTOPPABLE FORCES in nature.
At theCRASH, we believe that as our community runs together towards an inspiring vision of our zip code, we too become an unstoppable force for good in our city.
Local Focus,
Global Reach.
We support organizations around the world who feel as passionately about their communities as we do about ours. Rise Haiti has worked tirelessly for nearly two decades building schools, educating children, and providing clean water wells (12 wells!) in Vignier, Haiti.
Hope Hive also uplifts their community in Nakuru, Kenya, providing orphanages, education, and sustainable community gardening. theCRASH is proud to support these amazing nonprofits with annual donations and volunteers.
